Art shows

While setting in my booth at my most recent art show I was relieved to know I still had an income from my campground rv park job. I have tried to make a living the last couple of years just on my art sales. My art was just not moving so I had to come up with a solution. I would find employment in an area where I liked to visit then paint subjects from that area and get in a few local shows and see what happens. I now have been working here for 2 months and earning a wage and a free full hook up rv space and have done two shows. One show was a success and the other was not but I still have two more to go. I think I am on to something but only time will tell.

TETON VILLAGE ART SHOW

I will be at Teton Village, WY. this weekend for another great art show. This is an invitation only show so the art is of great quality and it is in a beautiful setting. Stop by and watch me paint and browse through the show and all the shops in the village. The show is located at the base of Jackson Hole Ski Resort.

Playing Guitar with other campers

Spent last evening in a jam session with a couple we met in the campground. There names are Vance and Donna and Gilda met them while doing her daily chores in the park. It was a lot of fun and a nice change for us to go out socially. I enjoyed Vance's guitar playing and his singing. We hope to get together tonight and play some more before they leave on Saturday. We hope to see them again someday down the road. We exchanged info so if our paths cross again we can get together. Don't be afraid to ask people you meet if they play music. I had a friend and fellow musician tell once that if you play an instrument you will always have friends wherever you go.

Art and Antique Show Teton Village, WY.

The show turned out fine a little slower than expected but my sales were good. I sold five paintings all to different customers one being a return customer. Thank you to all who came by to look at my work and watch me paint a couple of small paintings

MC Presents Art and Antique Show

I will be in Teton Village July 11th through the 13th for the Fine Art and Antique Show. I will be there selling my art and also painting inside my booth so stop by and watch me paint and shop through all the booths for some very nice art and antiques

Across America For Wounded Heroes

While working at an RV Park you never know what or who you will see. Yesterday this man came by and stopped over for the night. He is traveling across America in support for the Wounded Warriors Project you can follow him on Facebook under Across America For Wounded Heroes.
